What Theatre Arts will teach our pupils: Drama – 15 minutes
Through improvisation and role play young children can exercise their imagination, experimenting with feelings and words By interacting with other children in the group they learn vital social skills such as giving, taking and sharing. They can express themselves physically and emotionally, learning new words and phrases while memorising lines through repetition.
Sing - 15 minutes
Children get the opportunity to develop timing and rhythm, improving their diction, as well as learning songs and music from popular shows. Children identify how sounds are made and formed.
Dance – 15 minutes
Children will learn to dance individually and as part of a group, improving dance skills, coordination, balance and spatial awareness.
